- car.092 car.093 all files must be scanned individually for maintenance
- to be performed.
-
-
- Archive Data - (Alt-R) from Vehicle File-Id screen
-
- Archiving data files is meant to be a convenient way to copy Automate
- data files from your hard drive to a floppy diskette. This can be
- useful if you run Automate at home and in the office and you need to
- transport the Automate data files between the two PC's. Once the data files
- have been copied they can be restored via the restore option within
- Archive. Archive data is not meant to be a full featured backup. You
- should always backup your entire system periodically using some form
- of backup utility.
-
-
- LOTUS 123 Compatible File -
-
- From the Main Menu select Totals report to screen. Simultaneously a Lotus
- compatible file AUTO.PRN will be created in the \AUTO directory. To retrieve
- this file into Lotus 123 select /FIN which represents File Import Numbers.
- For your convenience the file contains records by date and cost with labels.
- In addition these records are followed by a running total by month. These
- monthly totals provide the data necessary to create a Lotus Bar Graph for
- monthly maintenance costs. Refer to your Lotus 123 manual for more detailed
- instructions on the above.
